I run a Tikka ace game on a 6.5 prc or a mdt oryx on my 22-250 & 6.5 creed. They are kinda the buget chassis from mdt, but i like them. The tikka ace is a very good choice, integrated arca already in the forend, haven't used it alot, just a deer at 200 & a couple coyotes

Yes that is the factory lite barrel. I just dropped it off to get cut and threaded today. I will have to weigh it when I get it back. Its heavier than the factory stock by 1 lb I believe, then the magazine is a 12rd mdt mag, so that probably adds another lb +/-. I have a polymer mdt 10 rd mag as well. It is chambered in 6.5 CM running handloads with 130gr TMKs and varget for powder.

I’m really liking my MDT HS3 folder chassis which is discontinued I believe. IMO, where chassis make sense is in long range heavier builds or sniper setups. This build in 280 AI is at 12#.
