I've had like three gear specific questions go largely unanswered. Yet each time I get a notification its this thread. So presently I think its dumb.

Notifications are optional and user selected. SO... why did you opt into the notifications for this thread if you didn't want the notification from this thread?

Are you getting notifications from everything you interact with and don't want to? There is a setting you have control over to address that:

I feel like we should congratulate @Billy Goat for surpassing 10,000 posts. That's certainly a prestigious crowd to be in, and a testament to his ability to operate heavy machinery all day while posting on RS. I can also personally vouch that he doesn't live in his mom's basement, which is even more impressive. 50 years from now, when his feat is immortalized on his tombstone, future generations will be all...

Agreed and on that note, it was a long night, quite a few texts to the Billy Goat, some extra reseach off Rokslide (County clerks, game wardens, bartenders, and probation officers are a wealth of knowledge) and a little bit of luck. But I think I nailed it
