Chamber vacuum sealer

Another VP215 user here. Buy once, cry once is the best way to look at that purchase. Only downside is it's size/weight, but it's worth it.
Yeah, I was shocked at how heavy it was. Makes me feel like it is well made and worth it haha. Things is a freaking boat anchor

Another VP215 guy here. Have had it for 12 years now and have sealed now over 10000 bags. Best thing I ever bought. It has probably paid for itself twice in bag savings. I should add, mine never moves. It has a dedicated location. They are heavy beasts.

Have had the Vevor for a couple years and no problems so far. Probably not the quality of the name brands but picked it up for $300ish

Not sure where to ask about these but figured be worth a shot on here. Anyone that has experience with chamber style sealers that are worth buying? In my experience im over the typical style. Have had to many failures freezer burning hard work, have in past used a chamber type in Alaska years ago that was unreal, moisture etc had no effect on it being air tight. I like to finally get a sealer thats an investment not another waste of money, thanks in advance.
Vacmaster is the safe choice, I have 2, as well as a LEM chamber sealer, all are great, but the vacmaster is a very proven commodity

I think chamber sealers are a necessity if you vac pack a lot of stuff… so, so much better than the sucker style sealers, and chambers sealers pay for themselves with cheap bags and longevity

I have the Hamilton Beach 305 and couldn't be happier. Wish I had upgraded years ago! For meat processing its a total game changer. Also so handy around the house as with a chamber you are able to vac seal liquid items like soup and broth. Get a chamber and don't look back.

I’ve been more than happy with the vevor I picked up last year and the price is one of the best out there.

There is a thread on this in the Meat and Trophy section. But I'll say I highly recommend a chamber sealer with a 16" sealing bar. You can vac and seal 2-quart size bags at one time. Big time saver

I normally go for the "buy once cry once theory".
But the Vevor 260 was $270 and the VacMaster was over $1130 delivered in Alaska. I went with the Vevor, bought it from Amazon, and spent $40 for the 4 year additional warranty.
Time will tell if I made the correct decision.
The VacMaster is HEAVY!. Dang thing weighs in at almost 90 pounds.
Whatever brand you buy just make sure you buy one with the oil pump.

I got an Avid usv20 off amazon in a pinch. Even though it’s not a high end machine, the difference from the food saver is night and day. I can only assume a higher end unit would be even better and faster.

Take a wild guess which is which:IMG_9888.jpeg

Been using my Vevor 260 since salmon season is upon us. It works like a champ. Very happy with my decision to purchase it. I especially like the lighter weight of the unit as it is easier to move around. The vacuum and large seal it puts on the bags is impressive.
As of now, am glad I went with the lower cost unit and saved myself $800,

Want to fist off day a chamber vac sealer is the best hunting purchase I’ve ever made. I have a VacMaster 215, but have had issues with it. We use a large Henkelman at work and have a smaller one at home (we sell and process meat). The home version is the Boxer 35. Costs more than the VacMaster 215, but a way better unit.
