Cerakote Remington 700

Im getting a new McMillan stock,trigger gretan shroud and pin and scope.
The guns stainless and i would like to coat everything possible in green,tan etc.Any parts that i should be concerned about or not coat.
What are the options on coating scope?

I sent mine to Kampfeld Custom for fluting and Cerakote. He did everything but the firing pin and trigger internals.

Coatings do not hold up nearly as well as anodizing on aluminum so I wouldn’t coat an optic. My bottom metal is aluminum and has a bunch of wear from hunting whereas the other stuff doesn’t show any...

What color cerakote did you go with there? Looks really sharp!

Black. Lol, I have no idea! I live close to Karl Kampfeld so I just drop stuff ask him to do “whatever” when he’s doing other work...

Ha! I hear ya! I want “black” too. Just not sure which one of the 27 shades of black I want. Yours looks really good!
