Cerakote/paint alternative for stainless steel

Found this while I was searching for an alternative to cerakote for a carbon barrel breech and muzzle. It's basically acid that oxidizes stainless. Turns it black.

I like it as it saves me the hassle of sending it off to cerakote. And it's cheap
