Central Idaho or Central Montana archery Elk tag?

I currently hold a Mccall zone Elk archery tag for idaho for 2025.. After e-scouting a unit there I'm worried a little bit about the amount of bike trails all around and afraid will be hard to get into areas away from people or find elk. I have heard that there are elk there just need to find them though.

Would it be better you think applying for a central Montana unit for archery and running into elk there? Maybe less recreational hikers/bikers that area/ more open land for seclusion?

This will be my first solo archery elk hunt.. second week of september. I'm in great cardio shape planning on backpacking a few nights in two different access points if I can plan it depending if find any sign that time of year.

any advice helps thanks!

I have archery hunting both states, and the McCall zone in ID specifically. I have killed elk in MT but not in McCall. Without a dirtbike you are at a disadvantage in ID in my opinion.
