CCI 450 primers

Hey guys, I use CCI 400 small rifle primers and still have about 800. I have been looking to replenish this stock for a while. Today I ran across 1000 CCI 450 primers. All in one old CCI box. The cost is $50. So I load 223 in 55 FMJ, 55vmax, and 77TMK. Without tons of research would I be able to use these? For the 223 I load IMR 4350 and CFE 223. Thanks in advance for info.

Yes, they are a very popular primer and would work well for you.

Cci 450 are a great magnum primer, thick cup for use in an ar if thats what youre using.

450s work great in 223. Have a nice hard cup.

On a side note your sitting on a gold mine. 450s are about the hardest primer to find right now next to the mil spec cci primers. Few more months and you might be a dolls to sell them in little baggies on the corner.
