Casual pants? Input needed

I really like these Edge Chino Pants 2.0 I got from 5.11. If you are a veteran or first responder you can get some good discounts.

Those look nice, but too many seams on the legs. They look more “rugged” than office/date pants.
That’s fair. I think they’re passable, I wore the lightest khaki color to a work conference thought it fit in. I work in an office but jeans are the norm.
The tractor supply Ridgecut work pant is similar and is $40, goes on sale for $27 or $28 periodically. I believe they have a canvas one, but I am referring to the synthetic version. Anyway, another one to consider.
but cheaper than the other technical apparel brands. I’ve got no skin in the game thought I’d share one that I haven’t seen talked about in here and is an excellent pant. The only cheap alternative I’ve tried is wrangler and these are better. Are they worth the price difference? Up to the individual

Costco has the weatherproof pants (simlar to the wranglers but without the leg pockets.

I don't have a Costco near me and don't have a membership (I know plenty of people that do though, so I could order through them), but the weatherproof ones on the Costco website have a little zipper pocket behind the right hand pocket and like a double back pocket. The ones I found on amazon don't have either of those?

Yes, they have security pockets. I actually like the front security pocket. (Especially in crowded places/ city. It came in handy while vacationing in Italy (lots of pickpockets)). Imo the security pockets aren’t that noticeable when zipped closed.
Costco also sell dressy office pants.

If you’re looking for something more dressy that you would “wear to the office or on a date”. Amazon has a large selection of casual and office style pants.

Huge fan of Prana Brion but looks like they’re discontinuing them, I’m guessing they’re getting replaced by the more expensive 5-pocket zions. Dockers airweave 5-pocket pants are great too and have a good amount of stretch

Have you looked at the outdoor research Ferrosi pant? They are my “go to” pant for everything. Not sure if they are what you would be looking for. Pretty thin and dry super fast. Look decent and can dress them up or down depending on the shirt/coat. Just another idea.

Mountain Khakis is running a sale on most pants right now. Not made in USA, but good pants. Tons of options at $35

I know they have one pocket on the leg but I just absolutely love my Prana Zions. You can occasionally find them on sale at REI. Wear them all the time for work, casual and hunting. They are definitely a do it all pant. My wife also picked up a bunch of Kuhl casual pants on some used site several years ago and they are damn comfy. Some do have pockets and some don't but I can't complain about how they wear.
