Hoping you guys can give me some ideas as I seem to be striking out. I'm looking for a pair of casual pants, something you'd wear to the office or out on a date. I'd really prefer khaki color. I don't want any zippers on the legs, and I'd prefer no pockets on the legs at all, but can handle a small subtle pocket (like the "phone" pockets some companies use). All the pants I've found so far seem to have some sort of issue that I don't like.

$28 Walmart Wranglers fit great, but they have zippers on the sides of the legs. I wear them quite a bit for working around the yard, farm, shop, but don't love the aesthetics of the zippers.

Tried on the Kuhl resistor lite jean klassik in the store and they fit great, but they dont have any colors I like.

Kuhl resistor pant and jean - dont like the pockets on the legs.

Ordered the Kuiu Enroutes and thought I found the holy grail of pants - the fit, the fabric feel and weight, pockets, everything was awesome. The waist was too big so I exchanged them for the next size smaller - waist is now perfect but they are too tight in side of the hips, the lower thighs, and the groin.

SG east divide pants - tried them on in the store and liked the way they fit and look, but the fabric feels like it isn't real durable, and reviews complain about that as well.

Maybe Kuhl Resistor Lite Chino Klassik? I see Wrangler makes a 5-pocket pant - might try that one? Some Eddie Bauers? Any other suggestions?

If you have access: Sams $15
I prefer the Weatherproof brand but several versions have leg pockets. Seem to have more options in store than online. I've found them to be more durable than 5-pocket Wrangler's but the Wrangler's I have are thinner/cooler.

I came here to say the Sams pants too lol. I like the Denali travel performance pants. They fit me pretty well, but I’m kinda a skinny guy. My wife says they look good and one of our close friends has commented multiple times that they’re nice pants. My work is pretty chill on dress code, but I’ve worn them to work a decent amount and seem to fit in fine. I like them hunting too since they’re light and dry quickly.

They have pockets but not huge zippered pockets or anything obnoxious but the Kuiu Switchback pants are my office pants and some of the most comfortable and best fitting pants I’ve found. Unlike some of the Kuiu pants that sizes seem to be all over the place for me, these seem true to size.

Lately I’ve been running some SG and black ovis pants but I do have a pair of Prana stretch Zion pants they’re amazingly comfortable, I know quite a few guys that wear them in the backcountry too. Integrated belt and no zips.

Not sure of your size but 2 pairs of 33/34 just got posted up for sale on the classified for $100

I live in Kuhl silncrs 90% of the time, they’ve proven durable and they dry quickly.
