Hey all.
Me and my wife just pulled the trigger and moved from the east coast to Casper WY. Anybody who is from here who would be willing to answer some questions? Trying to plan for the upcoming season. Feel free to PM me.

You’ll be non-res for the first year. Unless you already entered you missed the elk draw. Deer and antelope draw deadline is in a bit. Unless you have some points draw odds will be low unless you can figure out some access.

There will be secondary draw in July for leftover tags. They are leftover for a reason. So look in the regs for the details.

For OTC your options will be some leftover cow elk tags, available after the second draw. They will be in areas with low public access. There will also be whitetail doe tags OTC for some areas.

If you can get your hands on a paper copy of the regs, great. You can also download each specific part (deer, elk, etc) into your phone (that's what I do).

If you bird hunt you have lots of options on BLM around Casper.
