Is it too late to book a caribou hunt in Alaska or Canada. I have a client that would like to go one but I was thinking I might be too late to book for 2013. He person I would be taking is not in the best of shape. Does anyone know of a good outfitter with reasonable prices? I still need to get the ok from my company.

Any ideas would be appreciated

Doable for sure but you will have to start contacting outfitters. Easiest way IMO is to create a form letter to get started emailing for info and you will soon have it narrowed down simply by who still has openings left. You may even run into a deal or two. Plenty of variables to consider - type of hunt (horseback, backpack), different modes of access - some areas by plane, boat, helicopter etc.. Are there charter flights into camp? How much extra for the charter? Being in WA you may even be able to drive to a few different areas. Good luck!
