WTB Carbonfiber or lightwieght tripod

Im looking at upgrading my tripod for an upcoming hunt in April. Mine now is almost 5 pounds and works great from the truck but not so compact or lightweight.

Im looking for something in the 2.5 pounds with a pan head or a bit more. Will be used mostly sitting so height isn't to big of a concern. Must be able to stabilize an 85mm spotter

I just bought a Promaster 525 (I think). I like it, and meets your criteria. It was around $200 from Cameraland New York.

I have been looking at them really close but hate the fact i have to buy the full setup with ball head. I wish i could just buy the legs and put whatever head i want to on it....
