Carbon tripod section coming loose from aluminum fitting at end.

Sirui T-025x middle shaft is coming loose from aluminum fitting at bottom of shaft.

Before just trying to pull it out of there and re-glue it I’m hoping to glean some info here that might keep me from wrecking it.

Do these manufacturers use a heat activated glue such that I could use a heat gun judiciously and get the carbon shaft out of the aluminum fitting, then clean up and re-glue?

I pulled/unscrewed the center section (there are a few threads at the junction, most likely to help hold glue), sanded, cleaned with rubbing alcohol and ‘reglued’ with Marine-Tex. The amount of ‘glue’ from the factory seemed minimal. Hopefully, this will fix the issue.
