Thinking of taking advantage of their sale and ordering a C6 barrel, since they seem to be one of the few carbon barrel manufacturers that offer a featherweight option. I'm wondering what real-world weights any of you are seeing with that barrel contour? I'm looking for a 21" 7mm prefit to hit about 2 lbs - 2 lbs. 2 oz. Thanks!

Pretty sure that won’t happen. I have a 7wsm 20” featherweight and it’s about 38oz.

Thank you. That's extremely helpful. I was hoping the featherweights were lighter. I'm spoiled by my tapered Proof CF barrel on my Savage Ultralight. It's only 2 lbs. total at 21" in .308.
We guarantee .5-minute minimum accuracy and no POI shift. The target taper is a key component in the process.

I know this is an old thread...but was hoping for some feedback on the featherweight contour from carbon six. I have a sendero from them on one of my rifles and it is great. I am building a backpacking rifle in 300 Super WSM on a folding chassis. I am going with a 22" barrel and curious if anyone thinks the featherweight will show much difference in accuracy?

I won't be shooting the rifle a ton at the range and it will be allowed to cool between shots. Running a Banish Backcountry can.

Thanks for the feedback!

No, I can't tell a difference accuracy wise...they heat up a little quicker and cool off a little faster.
