I'm a big fan of carbon fiber rifle stocks for hunting builds, but a question I seem to get frequently (especially from younger people without big budgets) is what the real difference between carbon and fiberglass is. This article breaks it down as well as any I've read: Carbon vs. Fiberglass

I haven’t noticed a difference except weight and the CF sounds different because of the density difference.

Yeah, and MAYBE fiberglass feels a little warmer to the touch in cold weather, for whatever that's worth.
