I haven’t ever used one either. I want to use a heavy Saturn barrel, so I am going to go with the carbon fiber hand-guard to offset the weight.I’ve never used a carbon fiber hand guard, it’s an interesting concept.
I don’t know if you could go wrong with either one.
I do shoot supressed. I am leaning towards the Faxon in case there are any issues. I trust they would take care of it.Make sense to me, especially if you hang a suppressor off the end of your barrel.
I'd be curious on the durability of a carbon fiber hand guard with it being attached to bipods/tripods in different weather.
I saw this one but the low reviews scared me.
There is also this, under 8oz for the 15” and a whole lot cheaper
I got one. So far so good. But I wouldn't expect it to be combat durable. It's pretty dainty. For the price though. Worth trying. I got my 20" 556 build under 6# with optic no can.I saw this one but the low reviews scared me.
