Receiver mounted peep and front sight of your choice installed on the SS portion of the muzzle.
Pretty much exactly where my mind was, my father and I are both drafters and he sent me a cool design of a front sight idea I am thinking I’ll do a scope rail mount type integrated mount the sits flush when the scope is on the rifle

I'd probably dovetail the brake or thread protector and install a globe or whatever. There's not much meat on the barrel for error. You could also band it, but working the brake makes replacement simple if you screw up.

If you asked me to d&t the tube, it'd be $100 per hole just due to the pita factor of setup and expense of mistakes.

Carbon6 let's you specify if you want an extended stainless muzzle end. It would give you enough to drill and tap or dovetail for a front sight.

I'd make banded bases for front and rear, then decide if I wanted to use a clamp on design, or epoxy them in place.
