Canada fishing trip advice

A couple college buddies and I (all 25 years old and no wives) are planning a fly in fishing trip this summer. Pretty excited for it as it seems like it will be more of a fun, laid back trip compared to the hunting trips that I'm used to that involve a lot of suck. Haven't decided on an outfitter, but we know we'd like to fly in somewhere remote and have the place to ourselves. Other than that, we aren't looking for a whole lotta luxury or comforts. Anybody have any outfitter recommendations or advice? Thanks!

I’d look at reindeer lake lodge. I’ve never been but I’ve talked to the owner a good bit and have no doubts it would be a great fly in experience.

Maybe you have no way of bringing fish home, but personally I would never spend 1k a day at a lodge that had no means of processing and freezing fish to take home. I definitely understand promoting catching release and not wanting to market yourself as a place that fills quotas or sells trips by the pound. however, in a large lake like that giving somebody the option of bringing a few fish home would make absolutely no difference on the fishery and I personally really enjoy being able to eat a bit of my catch and have a cocktail and remember a great trip. So I would not consider booking with the lodge that mandates Ketchum release only except for shore lunches.

What province and what species ??

If you're ok with trout Lauzon Aviation . Been out with them several times on a couple of their lakes . Get dropped off by Beaver and you're left alone . Cabin or cabins . wood stove . propane fridge and bbq , firepit etc.

Sportsman lodge is Saskatchewan has done my family well for 2 decades. Ruffo doesn’t own it any longer but he’s still involved to some extent. You’ll catch more fish than you’d ever imagine. Shore lunch is worth the trip alone

I looked into this and was given an attitude when i asked what we could bring home. Got the NR gonna kill the lake if we let em do that.

Plenty of people willing to pay for C&R only.

There are certainly many great options but, as others have mentioned, you need to narrow down the scope a bit.
Province?
Fish species?
Fishing style?

I live on the border with northwestern Ontario and there are dozens of places that fly out from fairly close to me.

If you're interested in pike and walleye, Kississing Lodge in Manitoba/Saskatchewan has a main lodge and remote fly-out lodges. Remote lodges you have the lake to yourself. DIY everything once at the cabin. They check on you a couple time during the week. Big pike and lots of walleye. Potential for lake trout depending on the lake and time of year. We drove to Flin Flon and flew out from there. My group has been there 3 times and been great every time.
