Can I add a stud to the power ring on the SWFA 3x9??

I have a giant cable tie on all mine, cut the tail completely off and just use the bump left over for my thumb. I wanted something more low profile than the available levers and did it as a test (thinking they wouldn't stay), but they are still there and work well.

The power steering pump in my tractor has a slow leak. So every few weeks I have to twist the cap off and add fluid. The cap is original, so almost 50 years old, and pretty slick. Probably 5-6 years ago I took a large zip tie and pulled it tightly around the cap so as to have a nub for my hand to twist against. It's stayed on and served well and if I had to replace a zip tie every 5 years, I can live with that.

Point being, I like your zip tie idea and might try that myself.

Just got the below response. No stud but I do see the mk machining throw levers are 20% off.

There is not a lever stud for the SWFA SS 3-9X42 but there is a company making throw levers for the SWFA SS 3-9X42 scope. Here is the link: https://www.mkmachining.com/product/swfa-ss-3-9x-hd/
