Wondering what people are using to haul a few days worth of gear with their Kif cargo panel. Was thinking both the Camp Bag, but would like to hear of alternatives. Waterproof is not a requirement, but high durability is. Looking at 4000-5000 ci.

The OR 55l dry bag is what you are looking for. It has a daisy chain for attachment and is super durable. The Hill People 25cm bag works but is not waterproof.

sea to summit 65L big river dry bag is an excellent bag. tough, light, and not totally round so it works well on a frame.

I like that sea to summit 65L. Definitely will consider that.

That being said, I'm not real keen on the roll top type of bags (though I can see the advantage of being able to adjust the size). I almost think I'd like to find a lightweight duffel bag. Thinking even about the large Kifaru duffel...but it's not quite as big as I'd like and the XL seems HUGE.

You just explained why the camp bag is the sweet spot for me. About the same price and weight as the large duffle, with a lot more capacity. If you don't like the roll top opening all you do is close the roll top and do all your access through the double zip that goes end to end. I sure love mine!

Yeah- I think you might be right! Does the camp bag have a handle at all?

I've used an eberlestock spike duffle. I'm going to play with running a dt3 bag on the outside this summer.

Yes. The roll top closure makes a grab loop on top, and there is a webbing handle on the bottom. There are also two hang straps on the backside for frame attachment that can serve as handles.

When you say double zip, does that mean the camp bag has a two way zipper/two zipper pulls that can run from the bottom and top?
