hard to say this, but how big are your thighs? (inches)

The cut of the new Kryptek pants is bigger in the thigh area. You can try them on at Cabelas.

The Alaios are a really good all around choice. The material is a lot like the Sitka Ascent pants.

Check them out here!- www.Kryptek.com

Lol heck I don't know. I usually have to buy loose fit pants tho. I only wear a size 34-36 waist so I'm not really fat or anything. I just know he has littler legs than me and didn't like how they fit so I know I won't like them.

I have the same problem. Always had a 33' waist, but my thighs are about 30", so buying jeans and pants, especially insulated pants, has been a b!+(# my entire life. Don't have a solution. The Browning Hells' Canyon pants I just bought off of here have a little stretch to them, so that helps, but with my base layer, they're still snug, but its just something I've gotten used to. A product of lots of squats and years of playing rugby. Chicks dig em though (my thighs, Lol)

kryptek should be a good fit for you guys. my thighs are about 25 and i have plenty of room, i believe arons are 28 and he designed em....
pants fit in the seat and hip is more troublesome for me (34waist, 6' 185lbs) and the kryptek is some of the best fitting pants ive tried...

Another option you may want to look at is the Cabelas Microtex line of pants. Great pants that are a little more loose fitting than most. They are light and dry very quickly. Another added bonus is that you can often times find them on sale. My last trip to Cabelas, awarded me 3 pair of these for $40 each. I am stocked up for a while now...

I have big thighs as well, the one thing I do is buy my KUIU pants a few sizes bigger and then take them in and have them tailored in the waste. I have to do this with all my hunting pants KUIU, Sitka and Kryptek

I wear 36x32 jeans and they are loose around the waist but pretty snug on my thighs. I bought a pair of the first lite kanab pants in size XL and they fit perfect. waist is a little loose and plenty of thigh room.

Switchback270 did they fix the backside of the pants so the elastic doesn't make it feel like they are constantly creeping up? I tried a pair last year and after wearing them around the house for a half day they went right back.

I recently bought them a few weeks ago, so I don't have any experience with prior versions of the pants. I haven't had any issues with them creeping up, nothing that I noticed or wasn't comfortable with anyway.

By elastic, are you referring to the suspenders? If so, I can see where having the suspenders too tight would cause the pants to ride up some.

I'll be able to give a much better review once I get back from CO in October.
