What tripod do you recommend for the Swarovski btx? I currently have the slim 624cf but it doesn’t seem sturdy enough. Any advice?

I want to be able run my Leupold BX-4 12X50s on a tripod. I mainly use them as my carry binos but I’m so impressed with the glass I could see myself using them on tripod for longer glassing sessions.

Which tripod/pan head/mount would I need? Thank you!

The Sirui T024SKVA5 is perfect for that. It's sturdy and the head is awesome. If youy already have a good head I will work out a deal for just the legs. If you are not back packing then the Slik CF-734 or Sirui N-1204. Give me a call to discuss. I am here today until 5, rest of the week from 8-6

The best bet for you would be the Sirui T024SKVA5. It's a great tripod and one of the best fluyid heads for the money on the market.

Hey Joel,

I've been looking for a quality lightweight tripod for backpacking. I've gone through a few older model vanguard, and a cheaper model vortex tripod, and so far i haven't found one that holds my older vortex viper 15-45x65 very stable. I'm currently looking at the Sirui T-025SK carbon fiber tripod with B-00K ball head. My budget is right at $200, so thats where my biggest issue is. are there any other lightweight tripods you'd recommend? I typically don't stand up to glass, but i'm 6'4" so i still prefer a taller tripod if possible. i will be using it with the spotting scope and my bino's.

That is an excellent tripod. Standing with it will be a little tough due to your height, but sitting would be perfect. This is normally $219.90, but during the sale it would be only $175.92. Based on your height, the best tripod would be the Promaster X-CM525c. That goes to 70 inches with the head and has a 5 year no fault warranty. Normally $269.99, it would be $215.99. For comfort it is worth the extra money.
I am in the store all day, everyday, thru the 24th

Just talked to Joel on the phone for quite some time about tripods. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. Great guy.
