California mule deer.

killed my first mule deer in california in on an x zone tag. i was out there for 9 days solo and got it done after a storm pushed in and first thing the next morning found 5 bucks no shot under 500 so i snuck in to 15 yards with the rifle and dropped him in his tracks. first 4x4 i am on cloud 9.

no snow where i was but everything was frozen in the morning. deer were feeding on a sunny hillside i was about 6700-7k elevation
