California Mule Deer

This year I drew my first Muley tag for my home state, and put together a nice backpack hunt with the help of my dad and best friend Ben. We went in a ways and after a couple days of seeing more bears than deer, I decided to kill this buck- the 3rd one we had turned up. I shot him twice behind the shoulder at 421 yards. Every time the three of us go in together, it's always a great time with plenty of hard, laughs, and filled tags.
