Man I live in the stupidest state in the union. I tried to order my kids all a new pair of hiking boots, being that kids need new ones every year. I get all the sizes situated into my cart, input all my info, press place order…… cannot ship to California because of PFAS chemicals. What a bunch of BS. I swear California is such a joke. I’ve been dealing with this with rain gear already, but now I have to pay an obscene amount of money to get my kids a decent pair of hiking boots that won’t fit next season. I love our stupid liberal politicians in this state. Rant over

I bought 4 LED 2700K Soft White lightbulbs. Turned the box over and it said Not for Sale or Use in California. I can't understand that at all since eco bulbs were supposed to save the whales, cool the planet and solve hunger. Dunno...

Wait, that congressman that was banging the Chinese spy Fang Fang and the new liar-in-chief pencil neck senator don’t know what is best for the residents of your state? Stop the madness. Feel for you. There is hope…maybe a Kamala governor win can save the Titanic. :)

Start out by saying I was born in CA but thankfully my parents got me out when I was young. ( best present I ever received ).

I find it funny that they care so much about health and all these things but every time i go back to visit family all i see is crack heads and gang bangers everywhere.... glad they care about the real problems.... you know, plastics of boots and such

I was born in the Midwest and then my Dad moved us there in 1974. It used to be a red/ purple state and a firearms/ sportsman's mecca. Great hunting and fishing and huge warehouses with surplus firearms. Sierra Bullets, Berger Bullets, Barrett, US Optics, Weatherby, Federal Ordinance all started down there. In one of the surplus warehouses I personally went through bunch, they had hundreds, of FAL STG-58 kits and bought two. Unfortunetly it's changed, I'll have to go back one more time. After that I'll likely avoid going back.

Lifelong resident here... It is such a shame the way this state is run and operated. I don't ever see it changing. Seems like every week there is some crazy law this nanny state comes up with.

It's not the greatest for big game, but it has some of the most diverse and beautiful lands in the lower 48. I can do outdoor stuff of some type all year long.

I think Tejon Ranch had like the second largest scored live elk in the nation at one time. I'm not sure they allow much hunting there anymore. I think they had some good hunting up in Northern CA. The ex's family had land there, but I never got around to hunting it.

We do have really big elk here, and all three types of elk. But they are each once-in-a-lifetime tags unless you're very wealthy. I've called in several bulls for guys that have been drawn here.

Yup you are right. I can't remember what they priced that bull at Tejon during the 1990's. But it was unheard of prices. That's California's and a certain political party's way of banning something, without actually banning it. Make it too expensive for the common man to afford. Then you won't have the masses voting to keep it after a couple of generations have passed.

Tejon is 50k and you have to do a management hunt first, so 75k for your first hunt.

I can't tell you the number of times I got the message , can't be delivered to your location. Then I had to shop around for a similar item. Stupid beyond belief. The really bad thing is, they sit up in suckramento thinking up more stupid ideas.

So that whole PFAS thing is driving most all the companies to change to accomodate CA, you're just trying to buy old stock. At the moment we're all benefiting by major clearance on old stock that isn't CA compliant. The dust will settle shortly and we'll all have the same access to gear that performs worse than before, hurray!

I'll just write a check lol. I can't remember what a pig hunt cost back in the 90's Maybe a few hundred.

Well, if you live there and aren't actively doing anything about it, I guess you are part of the problem. That's largely why it is, what it is. Everyone bitches about it, then goes on their merry way. It gets worse, they bitch some more...and go on their merry way again. Over and over and over again. Just stop bitching, it isn't going to change for the better. Not in our lifetimes. I don't feel bad for anyone living there......the reaping what they sow concept.

There’s also the hoards of people that leave because of the political climate, which makes the political landscape that much worse.

People have been complaining about California going downhill as long as I’ve been alive. Something good must be happening there, some of our most conservative family kin have enjoyed it since migrating there during the dust bowl days, and few of them have been willing to move anywhere else, even after retiring. lol

Turn off NewsMax.

Add that on to the extra $1.50 per gallon for fuel to drive on the worst roads, the DOJ check fee to purchase ammo, the limit to how much to purchase at one time, the ammo capacity regulations, the laws on msr configuration, the requirements for the handgun drop test, can't bring ammo across state lines, no suppressors,10 day waiting period on firearm purchase, the asinine fee's and multi hoop requirements for CCW that have to be reupped every two years, no recip with other state CCW's , the non lead reg's ( ever tried getting copper handgun ammo for hunting varmints ?) , the $800 PER YEAR to register your truck and I could wear out my keyboard with bitches . F**K Kommifornia Liberals
