I don’t have any helpful info to add but as a fellow California hunter I really hope you post up follow ups of how the hunts go!

Will do. Head is spinning, both open 8/19...ram first, then cruise up hwy 395. Recover, then dive into a huge bow mulie.

Picked the right guide. He just booked 3/6 tags. Tuffest sheep hunt on the continent. Base camp@12,800. Still 12 feet of snow. I have complete confidence in this guy. Bought a new 6.5prc for this hunt. Training hard for this@65. 1 guy died last year doing this hunt.
 
He was prescouting, alone. Other guides found him.
