there are A LOT of mountain lions in that entire area.
December 2021, one day I observed 3 different cougars hunting public land, bordered by 2 private ranches.
Discovered one lion kill, 1/2 buried with loose dirt, leaves, sticks.....and it was a cow (cattle)!

If you want to shoot a doe, go to Georgia. 10 doe 2 antlered per season. They sort of have a doe problem
