Caliber for Daughter??

Currently have an 11yr old shooting a 7-08 with a 120gr loaded at 2500fps. Shots limited to 200yds. 3 animals down so far, 1 shot each. I shoot that same 7-08 with a different stock and 162ELDx @2750.

If you do not reload. Go with 308 as you can buy light loads for it most places. They sell low recoil loads for 308 a quite a few larger gun stores.

Those reduced recoil loads will make it a joy for her to shoot and you can step it up as she grows.
