CA X5B archery zone

I just found out I drew this tag! Pretty excited about it. Anybody have any experience or info on the hunt they would like to share, I would appreciate your knowledge. Thanks

I drew the X5B rifle tag this year, will be heading up next weekend to look around and get to know the area. Everything I’ve heard is Shinn mtn, observation peak, and skedaddle mtn are the areas to check out. Good luck on your hunt!

Last shot at any help guys. Thanks for those who helped, great insight. I’m heading up tomorrow and throwing it out one last time for any info. I’m pretty excited, but anxious also.
