Been archery only for 25 years. Buddy of mine has convinced me to get a rifle for elk next year. These are the three that have my attention.

Thoughts? All seem to be with $100 of each other.

Similar weights, solid triggers. What would you fellas who have been in the gun world more recent than me tell me about these options?

Ive handled the Ridgeline and Highlander in person. Both seemed light top notch rifles based on my experience

I am in the same position and looking at the same three manufactures. I am leaning towards the havak and could be pushed over the edge with the sale next week from seekins:

This year, from Friday, November 29th through Monday, December 2nd, order any production rifle off of the website at 10% off, and any small parts and accessories from the website for 20% off!

On orders over $250.00, receive a free RVL-R6 with purchase!

Hmm. Very interesting.

I have a CA Ridgeline in 28 Nosler and a CA Mesa in 6.5 PRC. They are very impressive out of the box rifles. Comparible accuracy wise to my Sakos which I have been very very happy with over the years. Action is a bit stiff since it’s cock on close, but looking at the total package for what you get, I’m a huge fan at the price point they are at. They shoot well, awesome trigger, and probably the best quality of barrel of the 3 you mentioned.

Whaack, I own Ridgelines in .300WSM and 6.5CM. I also own two CA Classic Carbons. I've been very impressed with each CA rifle. The out-of-the-box accuracy with factory ammo is nothing short of amazing. I guess you can call me a CA convert. I've sold four Rem 700's and four Model Sevens in the past 6 months and purchased all four CA's. I can't speak for your other two options, but certainly can vouch for the Ridgeline.

If you ask around on Sniper's Hide, you may be able to attain a Seekins 25% off voucher for cheap (~$30 seems to be the going price). Could make the decision even easier.

I went with the Highlander in 280ai. Just got it so can’t comment on accuracy. But it feels good in the hands!

Uh, WHAT!? 25 -40% off Seekins rifles? What???????????????
Really? That was a thing?

I clearly missed it and will be crying over my 10% off black friday. Well, I'll get over it.

Still... I think you are mistaken.
