Bergara versus Tikka

Those are the quirks that I see, and don’t see anything you said changing my mind about any of it. As was said earlier, my advice is someone should buy the receiver that gives them warm mushy feelings and put a good barrel on it. That doesn’t sound like I have a grudge against Tikka.

For me, that feeling was the Bergara. Then I spent hundreds on ammo and gunsmiths and fighting Bergara to fix their garbage which they never did.

I have since bought somewhere north of 7 tikkas drama free.

I just discovered that Tikka has come out with 22” threaded 7 PRC, 7 Mag, and 6.5 PRC. Weight not listed but Eurooptic says in stock. Anyone know more about this?

Having recently used/watched a 7mm PRC in a 20" barreled Browning x-bolt for a LR class I dont know that I'd want a UL rifle in that chambering unless I was 100% shooting suppressed. Spotting targets is difficult to say the least. If you were a heathen and a moron you could use a brake I guess....

Can confirm that a stock 7PRC in a Tikka Lite honestly sucks to shoot after a while.
