Just returned from a successful Blacktail hunt with my CA Mesa in 6.5. I have been less than impressed by the performance of the round in the last hunt and before, and I want to re-barrel to 308 Win for some more hunting options in the future. Has anyone re-barreled a CA before? I understand it should just be based off the 700 action, but didn't know if there were any nuances to be aware of. Further any pre-fit barrel recs?
