Burris XTR rings with the canted inserts

I know people like these rings. I’ve never used them. I already have a 0moa rail in hand, but I wouldn’t mind some can’t on this particular gun. How are these rings with those canted inserts? Seems a bit gimmicky and I’m hesitant. Trust my gut, or are they gtg?

I've used them for years and they work great, and never had a problem with scope moving at all.

They won’t hold on a smokeless muzzleloader

I have a pair and they are functional. Somewhat clunky, and I don’t care how there are two moveable base clamps, rather than one fixed and one moveable. The way the insert is made doesn’t fully grip the scope, so the design could be better.

I think it’s a better option to upgrade to a base with some moa built in.
