Anyone have any thoughts on Burris signature sees? The ones with the plastic inserts. The medium 30mm rings (the lowest 30mm zees available) are really low, which is appealing. But I’ve heard some people criticize the Zee design. A design that relies on the metal bending to clamp onto the base as with the zees seems suspect to me, but then again I could be wrong.

I have a set that's been on my McWhorter 7-08 for probably 10 years with no issues. I like the inserts alot, the scope has never slipped or moved.

by far the best rings you can buy. wont mar the scope. the scope wont slip. you can center the reticle with out using a lot of adjustment. and you can use the inserts to add some elevation with out having to buy a sloped base.
worth the few tenths of an ounce wt penalty for sure.

I’ve used them a lot, and then gradually moved away. They hold very well and the bending base clamp system is very secure and engineers have said it’s better than any loose clamp. The plastic inserts are awesome and you can get plenty of cant for 1000 yard shooting with the offset inserts.

My biggest complaint is you can’t easily remove the scope/mounts together as one piece to swap scopes - the objective bell hits before the rings clear the bases. It’s nice to have a backup scope that’s easily swapable, but if that’s not a concern then these are a lot of bang for the buck.

i swap scopes frequently using weaver bases. it is easy.
