Bullet performance in steady rain?

As I sit in a box this morning I got to thinking about what rain might do to a bullet. It is pouring down right now. I could have up to a 350 yd shot. Seems to me it would have to have some effect but I have never heard a discussion on it. What say you?

I live in western oregon and shoot in the rain a lot. For practical shooting, at hunting ranges, it has no noticeable effect on POI or group size. It probably does have an effect at long ranges, simple humidity does have a calculable effect, but in heavy rain you can't see far enough for it to really matter. Just my experience... others likely know more and will disagree

I killed a large buck at 320 yards in a heavy downpour several years ago. No noticeable affect on the bullet.

they say the bullet wont hit a rain drop or at least the odds are extremely high that it wont.

about ten years ago i signed targets for a fellow that shot a world record in a driving rain. five 5 shot groups for a .15xx agg. it has been been surpassed by now.

good rain shooters watch the rain for changes in conditions.
