I just did a pine top for my workbench in the same fashion. I wish I would have thought about the elk antler touch. Awesome work.

Thanks! If you decide to try it out, best result I got was from getting hot enough (not glowing red), and brand it quickly to keep it sharp. The longer you dwell, the more dull the edge detail. Cool stuff though.

Thanks for the tip! I am going to try it out on some test pieces this week and see how it goes.
