Build me a hunting bow

I would go to a local shop and shoot as many as you can. Tell them your budget and they’ll help with the build.

I had the Hoyt Ventum pro 30 but sold it 6 months ago to buy the new alphaX 33. I have a 29.5” DL and shoot 70lbs. I like the taller ATA and I think you would too with your long DL.
Yeah, I'm definitely thinking a 33 inch bow is the way I want to go. 6'2" with pretty long arms seems like that is the best setup for me vs. something compact

Some guys buy new bows every year. Back in the day when money was tight for me I purchased several bows from guys in my archery community that were one year old for half price. This worked because I knew them well and the bows were in better than new condition . The two bows I am currently shooting I have owned since 2010 and 2012. Yep older than dirt. One is an APA Suphan that was $900 new and the other is a PSE Stinger that cost me 300. They shoot close to the same with the APA being easier to hold on target but the PSE is slightly faster at the same specs. All this to say that "budget " bows work very well too. They are just older "tech". Agree with the poster who talked about the Bear lineup above. I have been looking at them lately and they have some exceptional deals for good bows. Also everyone telling you to buy a Bow from a shop is spot on. Archery is a sport where a matched outfit that fits you properly is absolutely essential for you to shoot well and enjoy it. A shop that helps get this right is essential.
