Bugle Report

I have been bear hunting northern New Mexico, not prime elk country but definitely elk around and some fresh sign, crickets! And it has cooled off quite nicely. Finally heard one this morning a few times.

Good action this AM near snow mass. Got 2 to come inside 100 but they both hung up. Was swapping bugles with 2 bedded bulls late this AM But they were tucked in tight On a nasty slope.

Northeastern Arizona. A few bugles early and late but they don't sound serious. Should be changing the next few days.

Went back yesterday where we had a 5 bull bugle fest the day before. One half hearted bugle 1/4 mile away .
