Budget Trail Cameras that work

Like others have said, the cheaper StealthCams have been pretty spotty and underwhelming for me. Had one straight out of the box not take any pictures when testing it at home in the yard. Pics on the ST seem okay but noticeably lesser quality compared to others I’ve tried at similar MP resolution settings. On the Says, I’ve had a cameras not capture a dang thing when setting were checked, tested, and left for 6-12 months. Pretty frustrating coming back to a camera and there’s nothing (either that or the sd card was wiped, not sure on that one, since I wasn’t using locks at the time)

Bushnell 24MP low glow cams is what I keep going back to. 0.3s trigger and 100ft range. They work really reliably, super good quality pictures and video, and they only take 6AA batteries. For whatever reason the price has went way up since I got my first one several years ago. I think they were $80 or so at the time. I try to pick up more when I see sales or used ones. They have a less expensive model now but haven’t tried it yet.
I haven't had good luck on the cheaper Bushnell model, so I wouldn't waste your money. I sold them after a while and went back with the more expensive Bushnell 24MP.

My Covert MP6 finally died this week after many years of flawless service but finding sustained brand quality over years and model changes has its challenges.

I tried a couple of the muddy version of the stealth browtine 14mp. They seem to work similarly, but the formatting and viewing on the back end was different that the stealth cams. I had to search for a different program to open videos, wasn’t as convenient but still seemed functional overall.

Just don't do spypoint - complete garbage.

I use tactacam and have great luck.

There are better but they work great.

I have been slowly switching to GardePro E8 wifi cameras, now run 4 of them and three A3S. My main stream cams have been Browning, but as they slow down, start to miss pictures, I am replacing them with GardePro.

Another camera I ran last fall/winter is iZeeker 400 and their solar model, ig420, and so far they have been doing what they are supposed to do. I will see how they do this season.

Cheers

I recently found the Spypoint Cell Link. I have several Link Micros so I already use their app. From the website the Cell Link is $20 and transforms any camera taking regular SD card into a cell cam. I picked a few up and upon arrival put them In some house windows for service and pretty soon my app was blowing up with pictures.
They were super easy. Hopefully they hold up.
