Currently looking for a more budget-minded combination of sleeping pad and bag. Been looking at a few brands but haven't quite figured it out yet.
Neither have to be rated for super low temps (lowest probably 0), and preferably able to be stowed/carried minimally.

A $25 ridge rest can get it done. for inflatables, I have seen klymit for $60. I would go much cheaper because the quality drops off.

for a bag I would look to mass market bag packing brands. Catch a sale or even used if you can shop somewhere or with someone you trust (bags can get killed by mishandling and bad storage and them wash and dried to pretty them up for sale). Not 0* but a $150 north face cats meow is a hell of a bag. I used one for over a decade as a backpacking bag.

If you don’t need an insulated pad, klymit static v is your best option for $40 bucks on Amazon. R value sucks but I live in AZ so it’s not as necessary. Had mine for 6 years and probably 40 plus nights with it. I have a foam pad (ridgerest) for colder weather and double up.

MtnHardware Bozeman series sleeping bags are about $100$120. Synthetic fill, bulky but fine quality. Combine that with a $39 Thermarest Z pad.
