Any recs on something for an AR plinker that works and isn't more than $2-300? Open to red dot lpvo or 2-10, 3-9 type. Currently have a swfa 3-9 but would like to swap for another gun and save some money on its replacement

Romeo5. Guy can do a lot with just a simple red dot

Also dropped a burris E1 3-9 on one for a while. Actually a nice lil scope. Unsure how bomb proof it is though.

NOT a Swampfox LPVO.

I found this thread, because I was searching for the same need. This thing loses zero if I breath on it. I rezeroed 2 range trips ago. Drove down normal concrete roads 10ish miles, put it in the safe then drove back to the range a couple of weeks later. Lost zero low about a mil just like before. Apparently it doesn't like leisurely car rides in a modern SUV, and 6.5 Grendel AR recoil.

It's what I get for going cheap I guess.

I've got a bushnell 1.5-4.5x32 mounted on mine. Hasn't been beat up much but has retained zero since mounting 2+ years ago.

Think I bought it off amazon back then for under $100

Edit: Feb of 2024, it was $75
