My 2022 Utah buck that was 30-3/8" inside spread

Was able to kill this guy about a month ago. Just over 30" outside spread. Found him in July and was able to kill him in September with a muzzleloader. Definitely a partner effort on this one. Could not have done it without a ton of help from my buddy. Best part was that he killed his target buck (27" wide beautifully symmetrical 4x4) right next to mine. Both bucks were dead inside of a minute. It was one hell of a hunt!

31 1/4” at the kickers.

I wish I would have got a tip to tip measurement on this bucks ears. Because I grossly underestimated him at a 24” main frame and 27-28” at the kickers. His main frame is over 27” at the G3’s. Even in the photos it looks like his frame is barely, if anything outside his ears.

Holy smokes! He’s got the beam length to utilize most of that inside spread also! Did you score him? Looks like a high scoring buck with a front end like that!

Yeah, his beams were crazy long. He taped out at 197-7/8". A little deeper rear forks would have got him to the 200" club. Can't complain though.

I almost passed my biggest buck ever because he was “only” at his ears…some of those big bucks have massive heads and huge ears!! Very cool buck

Yeah I have to be more mindful of it in the future for sure. Because when I saw the deer he looked BIG. But then putting numbers on him, and guessing his ears at 22", I came up with about 175". He was NOT 175" lol.
