Ive had this A-Bolt II since 1996. Its my most sentimental rifle as it was given to me by my father for Christmas. Recently I have noticed that it when cycling rounds, it will grab and load the first (top) round, but after ejecting it and then pushing the bolt forward to reload, it bumps up both the 2nd and 3rd rounds at once and jams. At first I thought it might be a COAL/brass issue with my handloads, but I tried some factory Federal premium nosler partition rounds that this rifle lived on for most of its life, and it is doing the exact same thing with those. I am thinking my next move is to order a replacement magazine from Midwest gunworks, but first wanted to post this and see if anyone else has had the same issue or has any other ideas I should be looking into

Just seeing this, but I have a 1994 A-Bolt II Medallion in 7 mag. I Ended up modifying the mag to allow longer COAL reloads. In doing so, the mag has a floor plate that can be moved out of the way to access the spring and guts of the mag.

What I noticed is that when I went back together with it, if the spring didn't set back properly, it would affect the angle in which the round would chamber. Very easy fix was I figured that out. Hasn't missed a beat since and its the original mag from 1994.

If you look at Wyatts outdoor youtube vids you will see he has some good tutorial on how the magazine spring location and tension affect feeding. Yours sounds like it may just need a little manipulation to relocate it.
