I'm still saving the coin. Narrowed it down to one of two options, Grizzly/Moose combo in the Yukon or a brown bear hunt on Kodiak with the man himself, Juan Garcia. Pricey but there's something about the guy I like. It's like $30K either way.

Hmmm - at 2:33 he has 4 arrows in the quiver plus 1 on the string, during the interview he down to just 1 and then back up to 3 by the time they get to the bear. What did we miss?

I generally like the color of interior Grizzly bears better than their coastal compatriots. If I could shoot a big blonde or silver tipped interior grizz that would be choice.

An 8' Grizzly is an awesome creature,, but a Big brown bear is a momumental project all the way around,,ai, huge country,comfortable weapon,skinning, packing, and fleshing.

Here's a big brown bear,, lots of work skinning him in the water and then trying to pack a 250lb wet hide!
