Brooks Range Sheep Hunt 2025

2 days delayed getting in (bad), 2 days delayed getting out (good) and 5 days fogged, rained and winded out of hunting (bad). Tough hunt but a great experience. Challenging with completely tearing rotator cuff on a float fishing trip the day before I started the backpack hunt. Added a little grit and bear it to the experience. The last afternoon a very nice Caribou bull put icing on the experience. Just do it if you dreamed about it. Cant wait to go back.

Lots of variables with any hunt but especially sheep. Just gotta keep plugging away and hope for the best. Sounds like you're doing it right.
