Broadhead to field point weight

Question for you all as far as shooting wood arrows. Are your field point weights the same as your broadheads?

No, my broadheads are slightly heavier due to different mass distribution. In addition, in colder weather your draw length will shorten slightly and that compensates for that as well. Always try out with your hunting clothes on.

Yes and no—-it depends on the setup. I don’t notice a difference in 10 gr either way and it’s one of the reasons I like shooting wood. I’m mostly shooting slow longbows, so it might make a difference with a faster longbow or recurve.
