Broadhead Recommendation for Elk

Looking at 100 gr, QAD Exodus and Viper Tricks

Any advice between these two, or recommendations on others I should be looking at instead?

Stick with a cut on contact fixed. Something like a Day Six, Kudu, Iron Will etc.

QAD Exodus is a great choice. Iron Will or Day Six solids are definitely great, but at a premium price. Grim reaper micro hades is another good option. And there's certainly nothing wrong with the slick trick.

I've used viper tricks on deer but always used Magnus Stingers for elk. Only dabbled with the viper tricks on deer for one season and went back to Magnus Stingers.

I killed a couple elk and antelope with Viper Tricks. They worked great.

With those specs...anything works.

You should stick to the low profile heads becuase of the speed you are shooting ....that arrow study tested some

I use QAD exodus swept in 100 grain. Probably the best 3 blade replaceable out there right now IMHO. The vipertrick is a good head as well but I like the triangular hole the exodus makes.
