Broadhead choice for this year

I switched to mechanicals last year but I'm switching back to fixed: gonna shoot the Wac'em 3 blade head. Flies great for me and ridiculously sharp out of the box.

I didn't get a single pass-through on any of the whitetails I shot last year with mechanicals and I'm shooting a 500 grain arrow at around 295 FPS out of my rig. Arrows would penetrate out the other side, but they would stay at least half-way in the animal. Only time I ever experienced that with a fixed blade is when I put it through both shoulder blades.

What mechanicals were u shooting?

I'm going with the Megameats again. Evo outdoors whitetail fury in the quiver as well, need to try that one out this year.

I'm shooting the Evo Hydes for the first time today. IW SB's are my tried and true backup. Whitetail fury just seem too big for my liking and I'm not lacking on power. 535g arrows at 290 fps
