Switched it up.
The build quality appears to be well done so hopefully put these Sevr’s to use real soon and test them out.

Got some Exodus swept 125-grain for my first elk hunt in a little over a week. Have shot the broadheads a ton the past 3 weeks. They are definitely the toughest broadheads I've ever shot. Had a few instances where they drilled through the 1/2" plywood behind my target. Pretty impressed how the heads fared. The blades retain an edge better than any other broadhead i've tried too. Broadheads were hitting just a couple inches from my field points at 50 yards. Every so slight sight adjustment fixed that right up. Can't wait to punch one through my first elk!

Anyone try any of the Simmons line? I’ve shot Magnus Stingers with good luck, but considering a heavier BH.

This probably won't be a very popular choice, but I'm going with the Swhacker Razor 252 broadheads this year. I've been using the Rage Trypans and I wanted to go to a fixed head this year just for giggles. These heads are flying great for me out to 60 yards. I'm cheap and being able to find packs of 3 for $20 is pretty nice.

I should note that the heads are made by Steelforce for Swhacker so that gives me a little bit of confidence in their quality.

Slick trick vipers won out again for me this year. I have been trying others and these have proved to fly better on my setups over the last few years.

Yeah they knock a freakin hole in stuff.

I sent Simmons an email to ask about a recommended elk Broadhead for my compound setup. The owner, Dave Oligee, responded back and asked me to call. He was very friendly and helpful, he wanted to make sure I may need to go to a 250 spine arrow with the 165gr tiger shark. Pretty wicked looking head.

Give these Australian single bevel Vandieman's a look (here). I've heard lots of good things, and I just ordered a 3-pack for $39 total (including shipping from down under). I'm not affiliated in any way...
