BRO K3 4800 vs K3 4800

What's your guys opinion? I like the extra zippers, and conversions on the BRO...but the larger side pockets on the regular K3 seem advantageous for trekking pole storage.

Just got my K3 less than a month ago. Considering contacting EXO to see if I can switch. I think I like the changes but not sure it will make a huge difference overall...

Yeah if they offered that configuration with just EXO on it I would be more in.

Yea I’m not really sure what the BRO angle was all about, other than sponsorship I suppose

Decided against trying to switch mine out. The more I look at them, it's really sidegrades than upgrades, and the biggest complaint I have on the K3 (not having two way zipper on the front access panel) wasn't changed, so I will stick with what I have.

Does the BRO model remove both full length side pockets or just one side? Trekking pole storage is my only concern. I like the additional pockets for storage so I don’t have to dig through my pack as much. I have the K2 3500 and love it.

The one long side pocket is still there, it's just covered with the full zipper. The other side is converted to two basically quick access pockets.
